With great sadness, we announce that Southcoast Allergy, PA will be permanently closing on Feb 28, 2019, due to Dr. Kovacs' failing health.

Our last day to see patients will be Feb 27th.

We appreciate the many years of loyalty and patronage from our patients. For his Allergy/Immunology patients, Dr. Kovacs recommends continuing care with Dr. Michael Neuland or Dr. Carla Hinds. Please stop by the office at your earliest convenience to sign a records release and let us know who to send your records to.

Endre Kovacs, M.D.

Dr Kovacs attended medical school in Hungary before coming to the Unites States to continue his training. Prior to his residency training, Dr Kovacs conducted genetic/molecular biology research for four years where he developed a deep interest in endocrinology (thyroid/adrenal issues and hormone replacement therapy), as well as, rheumatologic/autoimmune diseases. He completed a three year residency in Internal Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. During his residency, he also served as Assistant Chief Resident. Dr Kovacs then completed a two year fellowship in Allergy-Immunology at Cornell Medical College at The New York Hospital in Manhattan. After the completion of his fellowship, he joined Hackensack University Medical Center Allergy Department as Director of Clinical Research. His time was divided between asthma research and direct patient care. Dr Kovacs moved to Niceville, FL and opened his own practice in 2006.

Dr Kovacs’ 21+ years as a physician has been guided by the philosophy to find the cause of the illness or disease, and not just treat the symptoms. He feels it is important to really listen to the patient and once the diagnosis is made, ensure the treatment plan is well explained and understood by the patient.
